It’s a high-energy event where students are divided into two cola-themed teams and go head-to-head in field-style games like Big Ball Volleyball, Cola Chug, Tug of War, and the legendary Cola Toss. Every cheer, every challenge, and every moment builds toward something bigger than just winning.Because beyond the games, Cola Wars is about faith. Each night includes powerful worship and dynamic speakers who will challenge and encourage students to grow deeper in their walk with Christ.Save the dates. Spread the word. First Students
Our student ministry is built
around three key terms:
Come, Grow and Go.
We encourage our students to come and invite their
friends to come to any and all of our gatherings.
Sunday School
Students meet in our youth room at 9:15 am for a group gathering and continental breakfast. At 9:30 am they split into grade-appropriate classes and engage in a time of Bible Study.
FBC SET APART - Midweek (MDWK)
Every Wednesday 6:00 - 7:30 pm
Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm students gather together (middle and high school) for a time of games, activities, worship, small groups, and a challenging lesson from God's Word. This is a great time for them to fellowship together and grow as a group.
THE PARENT CUE
Parents, do you ever feel like sometimes you are alone in the struggles you are facing with your student(s)? If only children came with an instruction manual! I would like to share some resources that may be of assistance to you as a parent. I have recently uploaded these to our FBC Camden Set Apart Facebook page, but you will also be able to find them on the “Youth” page on our website (click on the Ministries tab and select “Youth”). We believe that you are the primary "discipler" in the life of your student and it is our goal to come along side of you as you seek to raise your children in the “training and instruction of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4). You will find resources like “Difficult Teen,” “Intentional Parenting,” “Leading your Child to Christ,” “Preparing for Adolescence,” and “Parenting Students – Technology.” Let me also recommend another source: The Parent Cue. The Parent Cue (theparentcue.org) has a vast collection of articles on various topics; Special Needs, School Life, Family Life, Character & Values, Technology, Faith, etc. I pray that these resources will be useful to you and your family.
