senior adult ministry

The Senior Adult Ministry at First Baptist Camden exists to minister to and meet the needs of adults 55 and older,

sharing the love of Christ through care, service, and community. Our goal is to walk alongside one another in every season-

providing encouragement, support, and opportunities for meaningful connection and ministry.

Visits to Assisted Living Facilities – Leading devotionals, reading Scripture, and singing with residents to share hope and joy.

Homebound Visits – Offering prayer, companionship, and encouragement to those unable to attend in person.

Card Ministry – Sending birthday, get well, and sympathy cards to remind members they are loved and remembered.

Transportation Help – Driving members to appointments and other places as needs arise.

Lord’s Supper Ministry – Providing the Lord’s Supper elements to those unable to attend services.

Meal Support – Preparing and delivering meals to families following funerals or during times of need.

GRIEFSHARE AT FIRST BAPTIST CAMDEN

We offer a 13-week support group periodically througout the year, designed to help you find comfort, healing, and hope after loss. GriefShare offers a safe, understanding environment where you’ll receive biblical guidance and practical tools to help navigate the journey of grief, whether your loss is recent or years past.

If you’d like to learn more about serving with or participating in our Senior Adult Ministry, we’d love to connect with you!
