Kevin has been an active musician and teacher in the Southeast for more than 30 years. He is an acclaimed pianist, baritone soloist, and conductor. Kevin has been in church music ministry since the age of 12. He loves to serve people, teach, and point others to Christ through worship. In addition to his decades long work in church ministry, Kevin maintains an active performing career with Ensembles Intermezzo as a Conductor, Pianist, and Baritone Soloist.
While maintaining his music ministry, Kevin has also served as Choral Director at Augusta Preparatory School directing preschool thru High School and as Prep School Chorus Director at Westminster Schools of Augusta, GA. Staying close to his boyhood home, Kevin attended Augusta College as a Vocal and Piano Performance major. He studied piano with Artemesia Thevaos from 1987 until her retirement from teaching in 2001 and with Lydia Porro Milham from 2001-2013. He currently maintains piano studies with Dr. Martin David Jones. He also studied in the vocal studio of William F. Toole(retired Julliard School & Augusta College) from 1988-2004.
Combining music ministry and music education has always been a hallmark of Kevin’s church work. Kevin honed his teaching skills in Pollock Music Studios, which he owned and operated from 1984-2016. He is frequently invited to adjudicate, perform, serve as guest clinician in Classical and Sacred settings throughout the Southeast.
In recognition of his work in music education, Kevin was awarded the “National Top Teacher” award by Steinway & Sons, NY in 2016.
Kevin & his wife, Andrea have 3 daughters - Sophie, 20 (a sophomore in the Honors College at USC) - Ivey (4), and Lexi (3).
