Church hostess position available

Tillulah has notified the Personnel Committee of her intentions to retire soon after the first of the year. She has been such a blessing to our church as she has served for many years in this unique, part-time position which we call “Church Hostess”. Her “above and beyond” efforts have been appreciated.


The Personnel Committee has the difficult task of finding a replacement to fill this position which is responsible for planning and preparation for Church events involving food service, including the Wednesday Family Night Supper and various other dinners, banquets and drop-in occasions.


If you are interested in being considered, or know of anyone who might be qualified for and interested in this position, please let that be known.


This position requires a minimum of about twenty hours of work per week. A successful candidate must demonstrate competency working directly with food service personnel, budgeting and planning. Prior food service planning and preparation experience is required. A successful candidate must complete the normal background check and drug testing as any church employee.
